Ownership
Cingular is a joint venture between the domestic wireless divisions of AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) and BellSouth (NYSE: BLS). AT&T Inc. owns 60 percent of the company and BellSouth owns 40 percent, based on the value of the assets both contributed to the venture.

5. Wireless is unsecured and the NSA doesn't need them
to release anything. Your calls go in the air for anyone to capture them that has the inclination, the know how and the equipment. The NSA has all that and more.
