Senator Kit Bond (R-Missouri): "It Is HIGHLY LIKELY We'll Be Attacked"
Edited on Thu May-11-06 06:47 PM by Dr. Jones
I simply can't believe the nonsense that was spewing out of the mouth of Senator Kit Bond (R-Missouri) this evening on PBS' News Hour with Jim Lehrer. During a panel discussion with Democratic Senator Patrick Lehy regarding the latest NSA domestic spying debacle, this idiot said the following:

"Because we're talking about this, it is HIGHLY LIKELY that we will be attacked by Al Queda again."

What a Bush-ass dope!

2. Who did they have on for the Dems?
Lehrer is usually "fair and balanced" and they should have had someone one from the Loyal Opposition.

3. And it's MORE likely they'll be successful in the attack....
... PRECISELY because gw has done essentially NOTHING that actually makes us any safer.

Fuck I hate republican voters. The extent of their hatred of our country knows no bounds.

8. Fear! Loathing! Shock! Awe! War! ... but the "economy" is great.

These people should be imprisoned. Forever. They're AT WAR against the entire world. Despite the fact that they've completely replaced the governments of two countries and continue to occupy them, they continue to claim we're "at war"!! Funny 'bout that. As I recall, VJ Day marked the end of the war with Japan ... and it was BEFORE the occupation of Japan! Throughout history, wars ENDED when occupations began. Not with this crowd. Perpetual "war" - with anydamnedone they fucking want to be! All they gotta say is "you're next" and they invade another country.

We're an outlaw nation, folks. There's not another nation on the planet this regime isn't "at war" with.

They claim that the NSA Wiretap Program was the highest classification and that leaks have "exposed" us and that Congress can't be trusted because they can't keep a secret. Where was the NSA when the WHite House was leaking Plame's name like the Town Crier announcing it to every news hack on their payroll? Where was the NSA when Cheney met with the energy companies?

Funny how this regime "needs" to spy on millions and millions of citizens without warrant or due process but the citizens for whom they (purportedly) work aren't permitted to see what the fuck they're doing on OUR DIME!!!

Lousy, fucking, criminal, corrupt bastards!!!

(sigh) (I wish I felt better now.)

13. If we are attacked again
There are a lot of us who will pretty much have a good idea who did it.

And it WON'T be Al Queda.

16. It's time for them to put up or shut up. Prove that these erosions of
our civil liberties are actually doing ANYTHING. Give us an few examples. Frog march some Al Qaida members from here in the US that they've caught using these billions of phone calls.

They need to stop bluffing with the terror card and lay the cards on the table.

Lying sacks of crap.

19. But if they've been monitoring all of our calls...
then they should have no problem stopping an attack.

And if there is an attack then the whole program was worthless.

Seems like he's between a rock and a hard place.

20. Sen. Roberts said "Al Qaeda is planning attacks against us."
Well, if they KNOW that, why the FUCK don't they go after Al Qaeda directly? If they know so fucking much about what Al Qaeda wants to do or is going to do, what's stopping them from getting to the root of the problem??

These people are so goddamned transparent it's making me sick!!!

AAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
