I simply can't believe the nonsense that was spewing out of the mouth of Senator Kit Bond (R-Missouri) this evening on PBS' News Hour with Jim Lehrer. During a panel discussion with Democratic Senator Patrick Lehy regarding the latest NSA domestic spying debacle, this idiot said the following:

"Because we're talking about this, it is HIGHLY LIKELY that we will be attacked by Al Queda again."

Where was the NSA when the WHite House was leaking Plame's name like the Town Crier announcing it to every news hack on their payroll? Where was the NSA when Cheney met with the energy companies?

Funny how this regime "needs" to spy on millions and millions of citizens without warrant or due process but the citizens for whom they (purportedly) work aren't permitted to see what the fuck they're doing on OUR DIME!!!
