Here is how to stop the corruption in Washington

Enact these three things:
1. Term limits for both House and Senate
2. Federally funded campaigns (no outside money of any kind allowed)
3. Strict rules prohibiting Congressman and Senators from accepting any kind of gratuity/personal benefit from any lobbyist or other type wanting to gain their favor or influence.

Take the power and greed out of the position and the corruption will end!

then it permanently reinforces the two-party system. The only way that Independents and Greens and whatnot have House seats and governorships is through private funding.
