of the book and said "are we there due to the NSA?"

4. Al Zarqawi is Emmanuel Goldstein.
He's a fictional figure trotted out in order to remind people why we're at war. He's the guy who kills our troops. They say he lost a leg and was seriously wounded at one point, but how could he have been able to escape US troops on several occasions if that was the case? Nevermind the fact that most of the killing has been done by homegrown Iraqis.
