NSA Spying Is All About Politics & Has Nothing To Do With Terra
It's quite obvious, isn't it? Bushco has donme nothing to strengthen our security.
but every move they make is to bash or intimidate their political opponents.

This latest twist on the spy program is just part of the *orchestrated* slow leak
of Constituion-dismantling info campaign.

Mark my words - by the end of the year (but after the elections) we will learn that these
programs were used PRIMARILY for political purposes and had little if anything to do
with terror.

We're two pubes away from a full-fledged dictatorship.

1. I totally agree.
This is the most punitive administration since Nixon's. After five years of closed rallies requiring loyalty oaths, manipulation of the press, character assassination of opponents, & two very questionable presidential elections (not to mention congressional elections), it doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out what they're looking for.

2. Absolutely everything is about politics (reward & punish) and nothing is
about terra (fear, oil, empire and hegemony).

3. If he's not concerned about Bin Laden, why would he worry about terra?
Bush: "So I don’t know where he is. You know, I just don’t spend that much time on him. And, again, I don’t know where he is. I — I’ll repeat what I said. I truly am not that concerned about him." -- 3/13/02

They want to keep the U.S. in perpetual war because, in their sick minds, the president is given more latitude to do what he wants. Now that there's pressure to end the Iraq war, they're focusing on Iran. The NSA wiretapping & telephone data bank is nothing but a tool to keep them in power. But how would they explain the inevitable discrepancies between the approval polls & the election results?

4. Jack Cafferty agrees with you!
Cafferty: "Let's hope Arlen Specter is still around, because he may be the only thing standing between us and a full blown dictatorship."

Although I'm not sure if Specter is the right pube.

7. Yep. Everything is political with these guys. Everything.
I've been saying the same thing since the NSA spying first became public, months ago. These guys have neglected every duty in favor of politics. It's hard to imagine that they would NOT use illegal wiretaps against their political enemies, when they even use the (supposedly legal) PATRIOT act against them.
