4. big Ed talking to Leahy
Edited on Thu May-11-06 02:44 PM by MissWaverly
Leahy, I don't think I have been this angry in 30 year, Rep. Congress acting like a subsidiary
of Bush-Cheney, last time we had something like this was J. Edgar Hoover over MLK.
I come from Vermont, we value our privacy, we can't even assume that we can call my relatives in
NE w/o big brother looking over my shoulder. Congress will ask questions, did you have
a subpoena for this. 9-11, no-one wants a sequel, but we are not going to stop terrorists by
spying on all Americans, despite the fact that it breaks Constitution and laws it is a gross
violation of our right to privacy.

Paraphrase not word for word - Miss Waverly

wants to follow

8. Ed talking about censure
Edited on Thu May-11-06 02:42 PM by MissWaverly
will mood change? Leahy- WH has so much control, GOP congress will hunker down and stonewall and allow it to happen. Election only hope for checks and balances, question on this administration. They don't want any questions on anything. Trust us, they do not know what they're doing, Bush statement on NSA wiretaps today = his statement on Brownie you are doing a heck of a job.
