If the economy is booming then why are...
people complaining? I don't get it, Bushites and talk show host like Tim Russert and Chris Matthews are wondering why bush isn't pushing his best issue the economy. With all of these new jobs that are being created I would think there would be no complaints.

3. they know not what goes on outside the bubble
Their stocks are up - they are richer, they have lost any connection with normal working americans to many live in fear of a layoff because they are just one paycheck away from disaster, that dare not get sick cause of little or no health coverage and who don't see things getting better anytime soon. As far as they are concerned laying people off is great cause that means their stocks go up. They are the privileged class and life is very sweet.

When did anyone ever see Clinton running around the country telling people how good the economy is? We KNEW it was good. We had the paychecks to prove it.

9. Bushco's definition of "the economy is booming"
Edited on Thu May-11-06 01:35 PM by StopThePendulum
The rich are becoming superrich, the superrich are now obscenely, filthy rich, the poor are becoming destitute, and the middle class is now house poor.

10. You want to see how bad off an economy is?
Look at the gap between the rich and the poor. The bigger the gap, the closer to third world we become.
