No. Bush wants this fight. And I also don't doubt that the USAToday story was any surprise to them. IIRC, David Gergen is Editor-in-Chief and while he's been critical, he still seems to have high ethical standards and likely had this run past the administration for 'national security purposes'.

When does the Do-Only-Harm-Congress leave town next? So much easier for them to not have to deal with flack for not swearing in witnesses.
