That whole * NSA briefing was a total FUCK YOU AMERICANS!
It was about scolding us, the citizens of the US. It was about making sure his latest POS nomination Hayden is not the issue because Chimpy McFuckwad & Co. will have its way to achieve totalitarianism over democracy.

Bush hates the world, he hates us, he hates rules, he hates being told what to do, but will do what he is told by the PNAC fucks...and they couch this type of directing to him in terms that lets him think he's The Decider, he's The Chosen One.

AAAARRRRGH! No attacks on American soil since 9/11  :wtf: It sure isn't because of anything his administration has done to protect us. We are more vulnerable than ever thanks to this asswipe and his cronies.

Have I mentioned lately how much I hate Chimpy McFuckwad?

The other day was talking business long distance. In the course of the conversation was asked to provide certain information in regard to the business we were conducting. I made the snide remark of, "Why? To prove its not coming from Osama bin Laden?" The person on the other end gasped and then laughed nervously. I said, 'Well, no doubt, thanks to the stupid Patriot Act, someone is listening to this...like it really matters. I find it disgusting and stupid." This person kept bringing my OBL reference up throughout the rest of the conversation, as well as in a follow up email. It made them nervous that I had uttered the wicked OBL word ON THE PHONE, and they wanted to make sure it was all over the place that HA HA, it was a funny, silly joke, thereby distancing themselves from any possible scrutiny.

We now have a nation that lives in fear of its government. We now have everyday citizens who will do whatever it takes to continue to live their lives as they did before the Bush Bullshit Years, and are willing to allow their rights and our constitution to be eroded.

This so pisses me off. The US is headed to becoming democracy destroyed all for the ultimate pleasure of the PNAC, a la BushCo, and global corporate greed.

I am so very frustrated and losing belief that our nation can be repaired. For all the crap that has been made into law to limit our rights, to ignore the Constitution, it will take years to undo, if indeed it can be undone at all.

7. Everything Bush says is a big F-U to the American people
It is the text and subtext of his every statement. Especially in his SOTU addresses, which have become less and less palaver and more and more veiled FU FU FU FU FU FU. Oh, and FU too. Oh, and if you don't like it, well . . . FU.

And all you say is true. And you are right to be furiously, intensely pissed off. I am too.

22. Hi boobooday
While we here at DU, and other Internet progressive sites/blogs, continue to strive to let it be known to the nation and the world at large how much FUCK YOU AMERICANS/FUCK YOU WORLD is being done, how many lives are at stake, here and abroad, all due to our corrupt government, it still feels like there is little that can be done to change the course of deliberate destruction by those who have created a place for themselves in ultimate and absolute global power.

I appreciate those few in congress who are willing to stand up and speak out, but our nation's government is a runaway train headed toward creating the standard of what can only be described as Dictatorial Democracy, an oxymoron that is becoming globally accepted, if only by those who see tyrannical bullying and corporate ownership of nations as the fast track to owning a piece of the world.

25. A Democracy in PR only
Democracy has become a brand name disguising a misleading product the Bush administration is forcing on the world. A lot like the way they name the medical devices used to pierce the skin for a blood sample "Sof-Touch."

The most disingenuous advertising campaign ever devised, which, as you say was created to get us all onboard for the coming "train wreck."

26. kind of gets you wondering huh?
no attacks since 9/11, but terrorism around the world has increased. The anthrax attacker has not been apprehended, even though it was domestic. The US government quit doing their report on terrorism, which was established in 1985 (I believe). So, here's a big HMMMMMMMMM. I don't believe the terrorism thing is quite what it seems.:tinfoilhat: And, I have a hard time trusting this administration in keeping us safe.

9. There was an attack since 9/11...anthrax.
Just because they never investigated it doesn't mean it didn't happen. And let's not forget the thousands of terrorist attacks on our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan since 9/11.

31. The investigation kind of petered out when the anthrax was
traced to Fort Detrick, MD.

A "person of interest," Dr. Steven Hatfill, was identified, but never charged.
I've seen speculation that the gov't doesn't want to prosecute Hatfill because
too many secrets about gov't bioweapons programs would come out in the trial.

The only reason that there has not been another "attack job" since 9/11 is because the Decider hasn't set another one up. He is the terrorist.

I am not afraid of anything he tries to use to frighten America.

24. Some are waking up to a bigger
picture. While it is all good and fine to rail against Chimpy and Co., it is not hard to see that his regime is merely the Oz Head projected on the wall for all to see and either fawn over with devotion or rail against in defiant anger.

One would hope that more people would be having a political epiphany at this stage, what with all the information available and perused. Even though the volume of the cognitive dissonance is set to 11, with so many sources and channels, both suspect and reliable, a simple, intuitive, gut-level realization should be able to surface from that, and on a large-scale for those who are aware and discern.

A simple analogy is that of a sundial. The erect member on the dial is the corporatacracy sprinkled with Elite families and powerful board members who have floated to the top of today's cultural septic tank. What we are calling government today, (and perhaps historically to a lesser degree) is merely the shadow cast by the Fascist marriage on its Grand Honeymoon.

Sadly, the rules of the game are purposefully changed in gradual ways so that most of us are still looking at the shadow as a means to regain liberty, a voice, as well as a just, compassionate, free and connected society.

If you consider the analogy above, then it is easy to see that you are rather powerless to do anything to a shadow itself. Oh, you can cast some light on it and make it look weaker, but the Sun of liberty, freedom, and justice is still occluded by the corporations on a Global scale.

Perhaps a change of perspective is due. See the sundial and its relationships! Perhaps then, all the obvious political impotence that so many are experiencing will not end only in frustration and anger. Results will be had when the source of the problem is revealed and dealt with directly.

Thanks for that post!

I so want peace, prosperity, trust in my nation's government...that is the shadow. And once night falls on this corrupt dynastic regime called BushCo/PNAC, have to wonder if the sun will ever rise again. Days like today, I wonder if things have gone so far that the sun may never come out again...or will come out, but there will be no humans left to enjoy it.

Same for Cheney, Rummy, Condi, Wolfie and Rove.

35. Lies betraying other lies.
The President started off by refusing to acknowledge that the NSA is logging and recording phone conversations. Then he went on to render that lie inoperative by acknowledging facets of the crime and lying about those parts of it.

The press, too, is lying by pretending to be so surprised about all of this when it's been one of those "everyone knows" stories around DC for the past twenty years or more. The real question is whether or not the criminal Bush Administration has been using NSA for political purposes. Since the President claims he gets to make up the rules as he goes along, it seems a distinct possibility to me.

Watch the hand-waving on all sides to try to distract the public from the answer to that simple question.
