VIDEO: Repubs agree on more tax cuts despite skyrocketing debt.

Simply incredible video. A MUST WATCH.

The CBS Evening news reported last night (Wednesday) on the lastest Republican tax cut, its (horrifying) effect on the National Debt, and the possible consequences.

The clip begins with reporter Gloria Borger noting how the Republicans seem to have been in frequent disagreement with President Bush as of late... "the Dubai Ports deal" and "Immigration". So with a big election coming up, "they've returned to the one thing they can all agree on... tax cuts".

But rather than end there as most news reports tend to do as of late, anchor Bob Scheiffer notes that the government is already spending more than it takes in in taxes and proceeds on to a report that looks into the exploding National Debt and its consequences.

They also discuss the "Debt Clock" in NY's Times Square. When it was installed under Reagan, it was at $2.77 Trillion. And grew to over $5T by the end of Bush Sr's term. Under Clinton, it was running backwards and they ended up shutting it off and covering it with a flag. Now under Bush II, it's back on, running in overdrive, and the owner is preparing to build a new one because the current clock doesn't have enough digits.

7. Sure, they love those tax cuts!

The rich ones get HUGE returns on these. Usually enough to put a new Mercedes-Benz S-class fully loaded to fill that 8th garage bay in their estate home. The ones who aren't rich love them too, because they're gonna be someday...or so they think. Meanwhile this, and Iraq are helping to drive the debt up to stratospheric levels, but they won't have to pay it back. These assholes say "Fuck it, our kids and grandkids can pay for it."
