oh lord here we go - Jeb Would Make a 'Great President,' Bush Says...
'Coming soon: President Bush III?

The second -- and current -- President Bush suggested today that his younger brother, Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, would make a "great president."

"I would like to see Jeb run at some point in time, but I have no idea if that's his intention or not," Bush said in an interview with Florida reporters, according to a story on the St. Petersburg Times Web site.

If that sounds familiar, the Bush brothers' father, former president George H.W. Bush, made a similar statement last year, telling CNN's Larry King that Jeb Bush would be "awfully good" as president.'

40. They're like monarchaic cockroaches.
They'll just re-populate until Dumberica is one big ramschackle house-church and a Wal-Mart employing the 200 million homeless citizens (the ones that haven't left for greener and more liberal pastures) about 20 miles down the road.

NOOOOOOOOO
NOOOOOOOOO

Please God, help me prove to the atheists that you DO exist. Give Jeb Bush a really bad case of gout or something so he wouldn't even THINK of running.

Please. I don't ask for a lot. Yeah, there was that hurricane thing last year, but that was a long time ago.

Thank you, T-Grannie

45. It CAN'T happen, Grannie.
Bush's sorry-ass words are recorded more then Princess Diana's picture was taken, regrettably. He talks out of the side of his neck and the media lap it up. I don't think we should take this seriously. They are words from an utter moron.

27. I know, this is as stupid as when there was a Laura Bush suggestion...
I think America has had all of the Bushs they can handle. Three terms is more than enough for them to line their pockets, wield their influence, and fuck up the country from afar from now on. Yeesh!

12. Yes, but are they "approved"
by whatever powers actually determine these things. I believe it's very carefully orchestrated at that level. Was it ever intended for WTP to have that power? Or was it more intended for WTP to have the illusion of that power to choose?

7. ROFL!!! That's the MOST helpful thing gw could've POSSIBLY said!
gw just gave jeb the kiss of death - nobody believes anything gw says - LOLOL

The emperor has no clothes, and he's disrobing everyone around him. Which just shows how stupid everyone around him is, I suppose.

It would be funny if there weren't so many people dying in Iraq and Darfur.

Really - won't the possibility of a Bush dynasty further the discontent of everyone who is dissatisfied w/Bush & the GOP majority in house and senate? Of course we at DU have a violent reaction - but I think all but the KoolAid drinkers will also be strongly opposed to the idea.
