Mary Cheney is a sell-out

She can't help who her parents are, but by openly supporting her dad and the policies he represents she is selling out gays/lesbians everywhere. Bush and Cheney and the wing of the Republican party they represents are the people who want to ban gay marriage and make it harder for gays to get jobs and benefits that other couples can have. She might have it made with the connections she has from being the vice presidents daughter and the money she will inherit or has already has been given, but there are lots of people out there who are fighting for the same rights as everybody else, and while she might be "openly gay and proud" she is not helping anybody else.

She can name call Kerry and Edwards but they have done and will do more for people, not only gay people, but all people than her father and his dim-witted chimp will ever do or have done and the same can be said for Mary Cheney.

Contrary to 'popular' opinion, she's not having her own ox gored. Repukelickers NEVER forbid themselves the latitude to exercise rights they deny to others. They just try to make that the privilege of wealth and entitlements of power. In the plutocrat's mind, only those who can PAY for liberties can have 'em. For example, prohibiting abortions in the US would never prevent a wealthy woman from 'vacationing' where it's legal. Never.

14. i disagree with a lot of people I love

like many family members who rejected me when i came out. Oh well, as far as I am concerned it is their loss. Mary is a sell out - pure and simple - making nice so she can inherit the millions.
