Gov. Bush Open to State Help for Marlins

Florida Gov. Jeb Bush signaled yesterday that he's open to giving state help to Miami-Dade County for a new Marlins ballpark in Hialeah.

Legislation already passed by the House certifies the NBA's Orlando Magic for a similar state subsidy that Bush said he supports.


Private enterprise: it's for the little people.

1. I'm sure that Florida and its citizens couldn't survive without
this ballpark. It's not like its healthcare or food or shelter for the elderly and poor or some other wasteful programs.
