Stephen Colbert Musical Extravaganza

Stephen Colbert destroyed Bush at the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner. Now his inevitable impeachment seems merely a formality.

This animated tribute to Stephen Colbert is in honor of his magnificent performance. I'll have you know I was baked on Cali bud the whole time I worked on this. I left the audio at full quality, because this work is done in the spirit of a Roman triumph.

There's no denying the huge supporting role Jon Stewart played in this victory. Both Stewart and Colbert had to use their people-skills over a long period of time to gain access to their marks. Jon Stewart loaded the bases and Colbert hit it over the fence. It reminds me a bit of the tactics of the "Yes Men".

I bought a couple Jon Stewart for President 2008 T-shirts...now we need a Stewart/Colbert ticket T-shirt....don't you think.

Or maybe just Colbert with the image of him as Godzilla with the lightening?

14. Well, I've been confused over the value of Colberts routine..

perhaps partly because I'm Canadian and somewhat more removed from US politics than Americans.

I still think the McGovern/Rummy video (see my sig!!!) will ultimately prove itself more valuable and politically effective than the Colbert vid but I can definitely see how well Colbert roasted * and how fucking enjoyable it is.
