Something very strange is going on in America....
Edited on Tue May-09-06 08:32 PM by originalpckelly
1.Hillary Clinton being given a fundraiser by Rupert Murdoch? OK, that is the weirdest thing I have ever heard. You know it too.

2. The freepers revolting against Bush. Those people would have jumped off a bridge for him. (By the way, now they're about Civil War, I take their word for it when they such things. They have a little bit of a history you know.)

3. The President openly breaks a law. The pick for the CIA is a military guy, and it is illegal to have two military guys at the same time. (http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/html/uscode50/usc_sec_50_00000403----000-.html) That isn't it, however, the President is being opposed by his own party on this.

I know there are probably things I am missing, but this makes think something very bad is about to happen. I mean, really, did hell just freeze over? What do you make of this.

Actually, the Romans suffered from the same disease
we suffer from: their empire was over-extended and
they had no capacity to govern the more-remote areas.
Eventually, the empire was divided into more-governable
segments, but the damage had already been done; the
western segment of the empire fairly quickly collapsed
and the eastern segment "went native".

(In very broad-brush terms)

46. I read a group of phsycics a long time ago that made startling
statements. One I remember said that America had been subjected to a form of mind control in the late sixties and that it would last for about forty years before some clear thinking would again come to the forefront. That forty years is just about up...It was supposedly done by an outside group that were not really Americans but a world group. I don't know if there is any truth at all but things sure have seemed like that. At least to me. I believe America has gone completely looney.

52. I Think...
that Limbaugh was part of the far-Right's plan from the beginning. Use him to brainwash the conservatives so they can do their dirty-work. They have been fed propaganda for years. Unfortunately, it has worked all too well. They all sound like a bunch of Hitler-supporters now. I hope that if Bush is impeached, the Republicans find out that Limbaugh was part of the plan & they were played like violins. I want them to feel embarassed & ashamed that they fell for it. I want them to know about the PNAC, Diebold, all of it.

47. It was during Dobb's discussion
with three radio personalities - one of them Randi Rhodes. They were talking about Bush's falling poll numbers and how it means that Bush is now concerned about his legacy. The Repub radio guy (sorry, bad w/ names) didn't agree, of course. But Randi and the other guy ( a radio guy out of NYC) both said that his concern w/ his legacy makes him dangerous, makes him more likely to do something drastic like bomb Iran. And the radio guy out of NYC said something like: Yes, this should be our biggest concern...because he's unstable. Others started talking but Dobbs cut them off with some urgency in his voice: Do you think - do you really think that he is mentally unstable? The radio guy said yes but gave an awful example - how Bush nominated Michael Hayden w/out vetting it with anybody.

it looks like the plan is to replace the DDCI as well, so there would only be 1 military person.

http://www.heraldnet.com/stories/06/05/09/100wir_a3ciachief001.cfm
Under the plan, Vice Adm. Albert Calland III would be replaced as deputy director by retired CIA official Stephen Kappes, who quit in November 2004 in a dispute with then-Director Porter Goss.

20. This is weird, but after what I have seen today I'll believe anything...
John Titor widely thought to be a hoax. I think he was right. How could someone have known we were headed towards a Civil War in 2000, when 9/11 hadn't even happened?

He talked about the stuff that is happening now. The one thing he said that was wrong is that there would be no Olympics after 2004.

Maybe he said that to throw us all off. But I think there is some very good evidence to show what Titor said is true.

Titor said the next Civil War would begin with a bunch of Ruby-Ridge type events. Today we saw the freepers talk about Civil War and secession. I think that these are the kind of people who perpetrated Ruby-Ridge and they are going to disenfranchised by this reporting on the Minutemen. I have no doubt this is what Titor was speaking of.

Furthermore Titor predicted that we would all know we were living in a different world by 2008. Hillary being supported by Mr. Murdoch did this for me.

Here is some more information on Titor.

I know many people might think time travel is completely impossible. Well, Einstein discussed time travel in Relativity. It was simply travel to the future. I don't think it would be impossible to find a way to warp space to travel to the past.

One way or another, I think it is striking Mr. Titor predicted with high accuracy the events we are now seeing. I had long though Civil War was possible, but of my own accord, just because I started thinking about why Bush came to power. I know this is a tinfoil hat brigade post, but since hell has officially frozen over, I think anything is possible.

Here is a Wikipedia article on Mr. Titor:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Titor

21. The GOP has alienated their base...A revolt is brewing
What happened I think (and this is just my opinion) is that neo-conservatism, which has been the foundation of GOP policy for more than a decade, has officially failed. And their base has abandoned the idea, and now Bush and Cheney are left alone with a sinking ship and no crew.

The Democrats will benefit for maybe 2006 and 2008. And Democrats will win elections easily. Because the GOP is going to go through an internal power struggle. Who ever wins that power struggle is going to be the nominee in 2012. A united GOP at that point will be about as difficult to beat as it was in 2000 and 2004.

But don't think the GOP or the right-wing is dead. Remember, an animal is most dangerous when it is wounded. The Democrats will have a GOLDEN opertunity to get the moderates and even the moderate conservatives back (like Clinton was able to do). And we will have at least 4 years to do it. But I am afraid that the Democrats might have gone too far to the left. In that case, we arn't going to be in power for very long because the moderates will be scared away.

of very visible proportions. It explains your points #2 and #3. Our government has been corrupt for some time now and it's beginning to show in a very public way.

As for Murdock is he insuring that if Hillary is elected President that she will still allow him the latitude to compromise the media like he has been doing? Is he that worried that he has to start courting the person who could be the next President?

As for Hillary, what is she thinking?
