OH MY GOD! High oil prices are Clintons fault!
I'm patiently waiting for Dean to come up on This Week", and slimy DeLay is on. He said "we are paying the price in oil today because Clinton wouldn't let us drill in Anwar and off our shores, and the Dems keep fighting us on that!"

I wonder if BC is sitting back now and laughing about how much influence he STILL has after being out of office for almost 6 years?

1. I was waiting for that, too.
Right before Delay said it, I said, "Watch him blame Democrats."

:puke:

2. And not only that, but Campbell's soup cans are smaller now than they
used to be, and the Clintons WERE DIRECTLY INVOLVED!

7. Excellent question.
DeLay needs to be sent home to re-start that extermination business.

4. The Alaskan quantity is little. Why not use that clause in NAFTA instead?
The one that states we can take signees' oil in the time of an emergency?

Clinton signed NAFTA.

So why are they avoiding it this time?

Oh. Because it might make Clinton look good for once.

5. Do you have Direct TV?
I can't find This Week at all and have no idea what channel it's on (or when).

9. It's on regular TV, ABC. I live on the east coast, and I know
This Week is broadcast at different times across the Country. There were some posts earlier this AM from people, somewhwere, who were already watching it.

6. Frist was saying this a week ago.
If you go to the Crooks & Liars web site you'll see a video clip of him on The Today Show saying the same thing.

It's all Clinton's fault. Now we know.

:silly:

8. There is not enough oil in ANWR to last us more than 6 months
Drilling there back in Clinton's day would have done nothing for us now anyway.

The refineries are FULL. That seems to be part of the problem

#&(*$&#@)(#()&#*&%)&@#$)#**@$)(@!#%_)#%&#%)&$)@!$@$@$??!! irresponsible, lying bastards! I suppose Clinton ran up that huge deficit hanging over our grandkids now? And he is the one who pissed off the whole world? Delay probably saw Bill on a big black horse leading the troops in the Iraqi invasion too...

We need to SERIOUSLY contact all sponsors of TV programs who invite indicted slime balls to pontificate as to why their doings are someone else's fault! Let the $$ know we won't be shopping for their products if they are gonna sponsor such shit

11. ANWR was not
economically attractive at $10 per barrel, you stupid fucking moron lying sack of shit (list of expletives shortened) Delay!

If anything, the low price of oil then slowed the pace of exploration resulting in an inability to keep up with demand. But the geo-political uncertainly wrought by the Bush Administration is the largest single factor in the increase in the oil price.

13. I just wonder how LONG this will last?
Of course, the Pubs are still blaming all our social ills on Roosevelt and that's been a VERY LONG TIME! guess BC has a lot more blaming to go.

15. When they come out with something this absurd on live national media .....

the appropriate response should be hilarious laughter. Otherwise, the listeners who have no clue might take it as a valid point. This is why the RWers keep on with profoundly silly assertions like this. They think there's a chance they might be taken seriously.
