Threat Threatens Threatener
Edited on Sun May-07-06 08:45 AM by bigtree
Speaking to the German weekly Bild am Sonntag, the US president reiterated that he preferred a "diplomatic solution" to the conflict over Iran's nuclear ambitions and threats against Israel, but said that "all options should be placed on the table," including military action.

"It's a specific threat against an ally of the United States and Germany," he told Bild am Sonntag.

When Ahmadinejad says "that he wants to destroy Israel, the world should take that very seriously," Bush said, shortly after meeting in Washington with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

2. The question remains, is Bush too stupid or owned by PNAC...
...to not play brinkmanship with Russia, China, or any other nuclear power?

He might just keep playing, and even think the "big red button" is his own personal playstation joystick.

" Daddy I did what you never could. I push da red button."

And then as my 84 years old mother say about the prediction of an old Buddhist Nun when she was small.

"There were houses, but no one living in it. There were roads, but no one walking on it."

11. WANDERING oversea dreamer,
Edited on Sun May-07-06 04:05 PM by bigtree
Hunting and hoarse, Oh (father and son),
Oh son of ashes and father of blood,
Child of the hair let down, and tears,
Child of the cross in the south
And the star in the north,
Keeper of Egypt and Russia and France,
Keeper of England and Poland and Spain,
Make us a song for to-morrow.
Make us one new dream, us who forget,
Out of the storm let us have one star.

Struggle, Oh anvils, and help her.
Weave with your wool. Oh winds and skies.
Let your iron and copper help,
Oh dirt of the old dark earth.

Wandering oversea singer,
Singing of ashes and blood,
Child of the scars of fire,
Make us one new dream, us who forget.
Out of the storm let us have one star.

Carl Sandburg (1878–1967). Smoke and Steel. 1922.
