bush will destroy America exactly as much as we allow him to
look what america has allowed him to do so far, and start connecting the dots, unless they are stopped, somehow, some way, things will get so bad you won't believe you are even in america.

even now, he knows his time is limited, and he knows there is much evil to be done before he has to go, either by his term being up, or his term being shortened a bit, yet we still allow him to proceed, every day.

look at what america has become and admit it, we allowed this to happen.

1. a little story
About 10 years ago, I was involved in a grassroots effort in my town to pass a certain type of noise ordinance. My co-leader and I worked very effectively and put together a grassroots organization of around 1700 people from a town of around 40,000. We got our ordinance passed after a few years of public education.

It was through this experience that I could see how any well organized group could get laws passed. That was because there is so little participation in government.

I could almost tell you chapter and verse what was going to happen when republicans became so well organized. The r-w neocons are actually a very small number of people but they hold the power because they are well organized.

There is so little understanding of how to participate in government that there should be a massive public education movement to teach people about it. We have changed from a nation of citizens to a nation of consumers. We need to forge a new model for public participation in government.

3. Hey mopaul, was browsing the Latest and this post caught my eye
Guess it's because I feel exactly as you do.

Dems will go NOWHERE until they match America's oppressive GOP point by point, word by word.

The only message getting out to the public here is that of the GOP and its worthless King. Dems need to stop allowing this to happen and to start countering with the necessary dynamite of Impeachment and / or Resignation.

These criminals are in there for good, from the WH on down to school boards in Dover, PA and those in Kansas. By our complacency and acceptance of this bullshit, Democrats equally share the blame with the Repukes by their silence in the face of tyranny.

I feel Dems need to be brave, to take a stand, and to not be afraid to let the chips fall where they may. After all, what else have we got to lose but a very evil TRAITORSHIP ruling and overriding America's freedoms today and also killing our own young in a war based on GWB's personal revenge for his daddy.
