1. Finally, a link!
I think I mentioned this eons ago but at the time I'd just seen the TV spot. Oh, how I cannot wait.....their formula that ends with "priceless" is as ubiquitous as the knock-knock joke and I can't wait to use it against them : )

The "priceless" ad campaign has GOT to be the most worn-out, cliched, boring thing in the advertising world.

It was good when it was new. Now everyone has stolen it. (My company has a back injury prevention program and, a little while after we started it, they asked the stores to send in back injury prevention videos they made themselves for a contest with huge prizes like $500 to the winning store's employee fund. They know I've done some ad stuff, so they sent me a reel to judge. I watched 200 videos, easy, and at least half of them were "priceless" ripoffs. I said "thumbs down" on them all. No creativity whatsoever.)

It's like the Harley logo. It's a great logo IF you are selling motorcycles. It is not a good logo if you're a roofer.
