The Conservative base in the demographic that is eroding Junior's polls further into the toilet. Issues like "tax cuts" and "lobbying reform" aren't going to get them to the polls. Who does this clown think he's fooling?

He's attempting to play the straight and narrow.

We all know what the Repugs are going to do. They're going to come out--with guns blazing--on two issues this Fall: Abortion and Gay marriage.

They'll attempt to get the base whipped into a frenzy with crazy ballot initiatives. They'll fear monger them into voting, "Do you want two, married horny men living next door to you? Well! DO YOU?? Do you want abortion mills on every corner in your town--forcing women to have abortions who don't even want them? Then, run to the damn polls or Satan will take over Congress and the world!!!"

That'll probably be a campaign spot...
