And when they go, I don't expect it to make MSNBC. Nor should it.

6. This will be sad for his son, Tiger. His father made him what
he is, and apparently did it with a lot of common sense and love. And was his biggest supporter and fan.

9. He said that his father was his BEST FRIEND.
He spoke about how lucky he felt to have that type of relationship with him. RIP Earl.

14. What else can a parent want than to have a son like Tiger
He did good. Tiger will go down in history as a world class athlete and more importantly, a world class philanthropist. RIP EARL.....YOU DID YOUR JOB!

7. the piece '60 Minutes' did
a couple of weeks ago on Tiger, mentioned several times that his father was very ill w/ cancer. His mother was the only family member on camera, leaving me 2 believe his father was in decline. Very sad....

10. Prayers for Tiger and his mom
His dad always struck me as a pretty cool guy. He was so proud of his son. They always seemed like a really tight family, too.
