AS many of you know our program gradually slid right off the internet yesterday. Our high-speed cable signal kept getting weaker and weaker to the point that we went off line along with our voip phone system as well. We tried everything to get going again but to no avail. I worked on it nearly all night last night and Ben Burch did a lot of follow up as well on his end.
Finally, after much pleading and begging, we got our cable provider out to the studio this morning and they had to search for a while but they finally discovered the cable had been cut in such a manner as to make the cut extremely difficult to detect. This accounted for the fact that we still had a signal but it was very weak.
It had been intentionally cut by someone as a prank, or more likely, someone who just doesn't want our show on the "net". We are in an area which has 3 stations that provides Right-Wing talk 24/7 but, obviously that isn't good enough for the Republican bastards that live around here. They want 100% of the programming to be slanted their way.
And so I say, if anyone who did this is reading this post, I invite you to come back to the studio building and do it again. Better yet, just knock on the door, announce your plans, and go ahead and do it again. But, you had better bring lots of help because you will need it.
Thru the miracle of modern technology, we were able to record the opening portion of yesterday's show and will present it to you today and then resume the show from there. I want you to hear the first half hour of yesterday's show because I think its important for my listeners to know just exactly where I'm coming from.
