For all of those that take the time to research and write so that all of us may be more enlightened with the tools of wisdom we need to fight this battle, I'm lost without you.

For all of those that think for themselves and use reasoning and logic to make up their own minds in spite of popular opinion, I admire you.

For all of those that report the truth and don't let MSM typicality stand in your way, I salute you.

And for those that would belittle, demean, abuse, detract, turn away from, attack and wage bitter words against fellow patriots who do those things set above, because at one moment of hundreds they didn't speak, act, write or portray 100% of the things you perfectly wanted them to, I wish you'd just go the fuck away... ...But I know you won't. It is your right to stay. But it is my right to choose to not offer thanks, stand beside, respect, honor, raise my voice with, not be lost without, admire or salute.

Maybe it's damned about time we realize we're all in this together.

Yes, I agree. To quote a famous patriot, "If we don't hang together, we will surely hang seperately."

These are arguably the most serious times our nation has ever faced. In past moments of historic monumental crises, our nation has "hung" together. It seems as though our country is polarized beyond all rational thought, and it is distressing to me that Democrats cannot seem to agree on what time of day it is. I fear that we are our own worst enemy at times.

I am all for independent thought. But there are many times when I wish we could get our act together as a political party, and take a page out of the republican playbook, you know the page. It is the one that dictates a solidarity of thought and action. The repubs are good at it. It is one of the only things that I would like to emulate that comes from the republican mindset.

I come to DU every day for a few reasons. One, I am allowed (still) to join a forum that permits me to vent and share my outrage at a wholly corrupt administration. Two, it allows me to become enlightened about a great many aspects of governance, thanks to some remarkably dedicated researchers here. Thirdly, I always feel a sense of patrioic pride, knowing I am not a lone voice crying into the wind agasinst a regime that is working overtime to rip our democracy to shreds and pick fights that will start a third world war.

I share your sentiments, and would hope that we can band together in the near future and focus on winning back control of the government, then hold the political criminals accountable for their high crimes and misdemeanors.
