HEY! C-SPAN just showed an EDITED (w/o Colbert) version of the WHCD!

That's White House Corespondents Dinner.

They only showed the "grip and grin" and that lame skit * did with the "Bush look-alike."

They edited out Colbert and the rather lame AP video tour of the old WH Press room.

Another event down the memory hole?

2. Too late.. c-span junkies watched it live and there are lots of videos

of it saved and passed along in the web..

I was planning on recording it for my son though, and was annoyed that they did not show Colberts this time..(They have shown it a couple of times last night)

If there was, it doesn't surprise me that C-Span would not edit out the Bush skit as this would have looked particularly bad for them.

SPAN except dorks like us. And then we get all out of whack just like we do about the zero follow up coverage of the "$500,000 confiscated at Penn. Nuclear Plant" story. And then.... nothing changes. BTW, I am part of the "new pessimism" movement.

they've shown it three times already. Perhaps they had some minutes they had to fill in and they chose George over Colbert?
