President Bush Job Approval

Updated Daily by Noon Eastern Bush Job Approval

Strongly Approve 17%
Somewhat Approve 21%
Somewhat Disapprove 16%
Strongly Disapprov 45%
RasmussenReports.com

Friday April 28, 2006--For the second straight day, just 38% of American adults approve of the way George W. Bush is performing his role as President. That's the lowest level of support ever measured by Rasmussen Reports.

Just 17% Strongly Approve of the President, also a new low.

Sixty-one percent (61%) disapprove, including 45% who Strongly Disapprove. One additional sign of the President's weakness is that Democrats lead by twelve percentage points on a generic 2008 Presidential Ballot.

3. I had a clever response all ready to go. But that beats mine by a lot.

4. wow--we are so close to a majority of STRONG disapprovers
("disapprovers"--that sounds sort of like "deciders")

That's pretty amazing. And all that strong disapproval means that a lot of people are going to have a lot of incentive to vote in November to give control of the House and Senate over to the Democrats.

6. Isn't Rasmussen usually at the high-end of Bush polling?
If the sampling data was among individuals who lean Republican, as I think it tends to be with Rasmussen, then Bush is really in trouble.
