I'd listen to AAR a lot more if it would actually stream properly!

Jesus! I should have stayed with the Boston station carrying Stephanie miller, but once I closed that window, it was gone. The link DU puts up just gives me a god-awful Real Player stream which drops every other sentence...and then just stops entirely. AARRGGHH!

for me on WMP. Sometimes it is really bad though. I don't know what the deal is but it is maddening when it happens.

4. I just stream from a station directly
Usually 620 KPOJ out of Portland or 950 KTNF depending on if I want to listen to Thom Hartman or Stephanie Miller. They both play Ed Schultz from 2-5 central time then delay the rest of AAR.

Here's the 'listen live' page of Schultz' website. Has about 30 stations to pick from. I never have trouble with those streams. http://www.wegoted.com/listen/index.asp

Good luck!

6. The link to the Boston station I get from DU is PERFECT
It never drops. But I closed the window this morning because I wasn't into the show, and now the link is gone and I don't know what the station was. I am listening now directly from the AAR site. It sucks.

WMP works only slightly better than a tin can and string.

9. I have trouble with the Boston station stream as well....
but I rarely have trouble with the AAR stream. If I can't find what I want there, then I surf around until I find what I want on another station that streams.....

11. Get Air America Premium
It's only $70 for the year, supports the station, has downloadable podcasts every day of all the shows and the best thing....no freaking ads. I download them every morning, sync them with my ipod and listen to Mike, Marc Maron and Sam everyday. You don't even need an ipod can just play them in Windows Media on your pc

12. AAR is adding show segments to the current show shortly after airing.
I'm not technically-advanced, but I believe it's just for streaming. For instance, AAR Premium already has the first 2 hours of Randi's current show (4/25) available for streaming--without ads!! Hope that made sense...

14. I use this site
that was posted some time ago by a DUer

http://mywebpages.comcast.net/Air_America/Radio.html

I have a mac and the stream on Windows media player here works FAR better than Itunes. My Itunes is always buffering for extended periods.
