E-mail from The Minutemen: Here's What they Really Think About Us
Edited on Tue Apr-25-06 06:26 AM by leveymg
I get onto all sorts of e-mail lists. Some are so far from what I believe and stand for, that I have to wonder why they ever listed me. Here's an example. M. Sidney Wallace is a spokesman for The Minutemen, a militantly anti-immigrant group. Apparently, Dr. Wallace's sentiments against immigration are only part of a larger constellation of hate he holds against others he has to share America with. That obviously includes us. Here's his e-mail.

Subject: Why George Bush Cannot Make Headway Against The Democrats? by Dr. M. Sidney Wallace

Why George Bush Cannot Make Headway Against The Democrats?
by Dr. M. Sidney Wallace

After listening to Socialist Comrade Kennedy on a Sunday morning talk show, I realized why President Bush is receiving such low
popularity with the American public. It is not that he is doing anything wrong, quite the contrary, he is doing exactly what he
said he would do when we elected him.

President Bush is a very well educated man. The Vice President is well educated, as well as the Secretary of State and all the
other cabinet officers. When these individuals went to school, they studied and worked hard to obtain an understanding of reality.

George Bush has a solid understanding of business management and economics.
Senator Kennedy had no clues as to how to balance his checkbook.

George Bush understands in free market economy individuals as you and I make the decisions.
Senator Schumer understands socialism will give him the power to make decisions for others.

George Bush understands "Supply and Demand" is a fundamental law of economics.
John Dean and the Democrats think big government in Washington can overcome the laws of economics.

George Bush understands that the war on Islamic Terrorism will take a lifetime to win.
Senator Kerry is ready to surrender to the first Muslim he sees.

George Bush approaches the real world with cold hard facts. The Democrats see their long-term plans slowly working.

Over the past 30 years socialist have been slowly dumbing down the American population by telling their children that coping with
math, science, and factual material is too hard for them. Students are taught to listen to their feelings instead of investing a
little sweat into studying. Students are constantly instructed that getting along with others is more important than learning about
history, economics, and the sciences. Children are taught that it is better to be an equal member of the team than to excel at
anything.

The national media is equally to blame for failing to understand that what is missing is "truth in their stories." However, just
like in the early days of the Soviet Union, the truth is of little importance when you are trying to build a socialistic society.

Therefore, we come back to the question, "Why George Bush cannot make headway against the Democrats?" The answer is simple. One
man cannot overcome 30 years of public school brain washing by the Socialists.

No matter how much political BS the Democrats generate, nothing will change the laws of economics and the President knows it. I
would prefer to pay $4 or $5 a gallon for gasoline than to have a local commissar tell me how much gasoline I can have.

1. Remember, we're the reality based side
Did you cut & paste that? I was wondering, as they list "John Dean" instead of Howard.

How many Muslims does Mexico have? :eyes:

What idiots.

Their letter proves they just care about blocking brown-skinned people from entering the country - it's not about terrorism. I don't know of any Mexican who committed terrorism upon the United States. I do, however, know of a lily-white former military man from Michigan who did.

6. Just another sheep
"I would prefer to pay $4 or $5 a gallon for gasoline than to have a local commissar tell me how much gasoline I can have"

After he spends all his money on gas, and GWB begins to ration it, He'll blindly accept that also.
Just because Its GWB that does it.

5. my response
I read your most recent diatribe against the democrats and for George Bush.

I sincerely hope that you get back on your meds without delay. The risk you are taking is huge. Innocents around you might be harmed if you continue down this path. Make sure you remove all sharp objects and guns from your home - you cannot be trusted with adult tools.

It does explain why Bush still has 32% support. That is precisely the level of mental illness that affects our country - which by coincidence, matches the level of fundie and mental religious beliefs.

You are a sick, sick man. And a doctor of what? I can only guess. Please get help. Soon.

9. it's hard to argue with (ill)logic like that
because it makes no sense, and seems very arbitrarily tied to reality.

Groups like this are creepy, IMO. Seems to me like nothing more than a collection of emotionally-disturbed people with substandard intelligence levels doing nothing more than working each other into a frothing lather.

I think this 'proof' is a textbook example of neocon reasoning, or lack thereof.

I started going through and breaking this down point by point, but then decided that it wasn't worth the energy to 'debug' the heaping endless flow of non sequiturs that this guy tries to pass off as logical progression.

Edited on Tue Apr-25-06 06:59 AM by ClintonTyree
under the guise of "protecting our borders" they'll spread their hate for all who aren't white, christian men. Just another hate group but unfortunately there are more than enough willing "followers" to eat their righteous indignation up with a spoon. This guy is seriously fucked up, projecting the very things his own side is doing onto Democrats. I think this country is headed for it's own "civil" war thanks to "I'm a uniter, not a divider", george bush.

25. projection seems to be their most important tool
that is, projecting their own tendancies on that of the group they target as an 'enemy'.

If people could only see that as plainly as we do, it would a useless device. Sadly, though, many people seem incapable. :-(

22. People who actually think like this
amuse the hell out of me. Unfortunately, I know people like this. When pressed for specifics they can never provide any. That's how well they are educated. When you try to explain that to support an argument, facts are needed to support the thesis, they just look at you like you have a turd on the top of your head.

An old friend (who is quickly becoming just an acquaintance)told me he thought * was a great man. I asked for just one thing that he has done in his life that makes him great. One thing. The answer I was given: he didn't put a cigar in his interns vagina (I swear that is the response I got). My response was that if what you don't do makes you great, then perhaps * is a great man. Then I listed off the things he hasn't done: legitimately get elected president, tell the truth for going to war with Iraq, make economically sound policy by giving tax cuts to the rich....My list continued on for a few minutes, but its irony was lost on my dear acquaintance.

So it goes.

Sorry, I couldn't continue after that one.

Just because he attended a prestigious institution doesn't mean he absorbed anything. Quite the contrary. It's obvious he wasted his time there.
