Hitler and Hirohito had millions on their side and the power of massive states behind them.

There are estimated to be approx 5,000 or less members of al-Aqaeda and Osama has no state power, no army, no manufacturing base, no technology...possibly the only thing he has right now is a tape recorder.

11. Well let step back a bit...the USA did not win WW II
We were a partner in the victory....fact is Russia was the prime contributor to the defeat of Germany. Our contribution was invaluable, and our motivation more pure than the Russians, but militarily speaking we were not the primary actors!
