Ever wonder why Nevada and Florida are "swing" states?
This might be a clue:

http://www.gasbuddy.com/gb_gastemperaturemap.aspx
(Right-click on your county to see what the average price is.)

Gas prices. Notice how the Red states generally have cheaper gas and the Blue states (California and NY) are the highest in the country? Hmmm....That Cheney is a Dick.

Just a guess.

1. Just a guess but
I would say it doesn't have anything to do with votes.

Cost of living is lower here in my red state,OK, than in CA or NY. So are our minimum wages.
It stands to reason that the gas would be lower here as well.

2. I would assume taxes is the major difference
not how a state tends to vote.

5. Of course it is...

The war in America is against Americans. 911 was engineered to soften us up for exaggerated threats -- giving the powers that been enough clout to get their way.

Ironically, the powers that been -- they failed to anticipate new world realities. These plans were drawn up before the existence of the internet.

The old cold warriors (Bush's Cabinet) are now trying to suppress truth that is already known.

Make the known truth known to those who don't know (my tribute to Rummy).

6. I think these maps go together.
Ask what you want in a blue state as they are not going to vote for the GOP any how. Bush had dumped so much tax money into faith based groups they are most likely buying gas for these people. Oh dear, I am getting more and more nuts.
