Bush marriage explodes!!!
Did you see the recent cover on the National Examiner (cousin of National Equirer)?

It features George W Bush's rage against his wife, Laura, for what was included in her biography. Basically, according to this article, George felt humiliated at a few tidbits. These are what I can remember:

a) George relying on Laura to give him the update on the current issues because he's too busy reading the sports pages and doing the crossword puzzles.

b) George relying on Laura to make character judgement of people who may work for him due to her "good instincts" of character which he does not have.

c) George being a worthless drunk lush before marrying Laura and coming "a long way" thanks to Laura's influence.

There's a few more but I can't remember now.

Take it as you will...but no matter if you believe this or not, it's VERY SIGNIFICANT that this is put on the front page of a gossip newspaper. Can you imagine this happening 2 years ago?

1. There were a couple others, too, such as how irksome Laura found it
when George opted to drop the megaton bombs on unarmed civilian populations.

Boy oh boy, did that get her dander up!

___

You're right. Two years ago that probably wouldn't have seen the light of day, no matter the venue.

That makes the whole article bogus. Not believable. Not true.

Go back to stories they run about Titanic passengers being picked up 80 some years after the sinking.

It's fiction.

Bye.

37. No
I've seen her having been reported as dating men. Perhaps she's just asexual. It's not uncommon among career-dedicated 50-somethings. Some folks just give up on finding that right match. If she's actually gay (and frankly that's statistically more likely to be a vicious rumor than actually true), then she's a closet case. My money is on the asexual thing, tho. Too busy destroying the country's credibility to stop and find her soul mate. A pity. A pity times 2389. Or times thirty eight thousand.

Really....When he met Putin...didn't he say he could see in the mans eyes that he was a good man....(some bullshit like that)....or did Laura look into Putin's eyes.....hmmmmm........the latter seems more realistic...

but there was a supposed mob guy who owns some gossip columns and was in some legal trouble a while back, so he laid off the administration. But as soon as he got off the hook (and I do believe he beat the charge) he started letting LOOSE!!!!

I wish I could recall more detail for you, but I am so obsessed with Plame Gate, I can't recall those names.

31. I cannot imagine Laura publishing a book without
the approval of Rove through Meiers via mom and pop Bush. No way. Laura would not dare say one word that was not stamped with the Bush administration seal of approval. And if she tried, no one would dare publish it. This is nonsense.

LAURA BUSH: Good morning, everybody. I am here to announce that I will be resigning as White House First Lady.

Mr. President, it has been an extraordinarily difficult to have had to endure so many years as your wife.

The White House is going through a period of transition; change can be helpful, and this is a good time and good position to help bring about change. I am ready to move on. I've been in this position a long time, and I am excited about beginning the next chapter in my life without you.

You have made me so fucking mad a lot over the last several years with this scam, and I am grateful to be out.

Our relationship began back in Texas, and I look forward to ending it, particularly when we are both back in Texas.

THE PRESIDENT: That's right. (Laughter.)

That was pretty much my reaction to it.

For wahtever reason, the Supermarket rags have kept their distance from the Bushes, although the twins were perfect fodder. Meanwhile, a story about Bill and Hillary splitting or Chelsea getting an abortion pops up once or twice every year.
