Freepers

Does anyone know if the freepers went further underground and are hiding better?

It used to be the "freep" this poll, that poll and the other poll could be found on their main pages. Are their "activist" orders now on a hidden page requiring membership? If they plan on infiltrating a site, or email bombing a site or reporter or what have you, where are those organizational maneuvers planned and executed? They must have a membership only page to keep it more covert.

They are on the run. I'd like to infiltrate their "war room" to see what is going on. They are very paranoid and very selective, but someone must have gotten in.

Anyone know how they do it?

14. I used to be one of them, pre 9-11

but afterwards, it became a Bush worshiping site, with no tolerance for dissent( I couldn't stay around with their insults to my intelligence to be banned ), I mean Jesus, Joseph and Mary, x-42(their code for Clinton) has been out of the White House for five years and still they run to him for blame from 9-11 to so-called morality problems, to the the reason the NFL still hasn't a team in Los Angeles(OK I made that last one upB-) ) And oh BTW welcom to DU from a newbee too!:hi:

5. I drop by, once in awhile. They have lost lot of steam. I mean , getting

riled up about left wingers, without anything substantial to counter criticism of their "Dear Leader" is work, a lot of work.

8. Yes, I have noticed this too. They seem are little forlorned and

after lurking there on and off for the past year, I can tell you they don't have many long-timers. The names are different all the time.

Lately, they just have been blaming the Dems for everything. Now that is funny!

and reading that thread...these people are in such serious denial...I would suggest an intervention. But I don't think it would do any good.

I just picture them in what I call a "Rainman response". You get them locked in a room, confront them with the fact that they are out of touch with reality, tell them the truth...and they proceed to shriek, "NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!", while punching themselves in the head, smashing their craniums into walls, crying hysterically.

11. They have become their own destiny

They gloated that the rest of Americans were "irrelevant" once they barely scraped by in the 2004 elections, and that the "winner takes all"....now they are faced with the same prospect happening to themselves. The religious Right is trying desperately to get as many draconian laws passed as possible before the end of the year - which just means they'll have to get repealed. Their own arrogance has made them irrelevant.
