Did anyone hear Thomas Friedman this morning?
I was channel surfing and got the tail end of his remarks, but he said, effectively, that the United States soon will not have a single ally in the world. Did I hear that right? Thomas Friedman???

2. Though that's very scary, Israel and Britain won't be allies??
This administration supports Israel almost 100% and Britain is basically a partner in crime with us for the Iraq War.

4. I think the whole world is afraid of this current Washington regime.
I suspect that once they outta there -- in jail, in hiding, or wherever they end up -- and the United States returns to sane governance, our allies will be back. But they aren't going to go along with the Junta, because they are afraid of losing power in their own countries because of it. I hear things are getting tough for the government in Austrialia now. Blair's in trouble. Spain, Italy ... the beat goes on.

6. "France is Our Enemy" Friedman
discovers the world hates us. Wonder what tipped him off? Bellhops in Bangalore must be spitting into his shoes or something.

7. Do you ever wonder about the reality of our PNAC and the barons.
Supposedly, they have invested heavily in creating dis-reality so that they can get away with their carnage, so that we won't figure them out, so that we will believe them, so that we will follow them, so that will will pay for their carnage.

Are they so determined that they will bomb Iran alone?

It's mind-boggling - a small per cent of greedy people have used the world.

And the U.S. is ending up as a third world country.

(Did you hear the statistics that Kennedey stated this morning on MTP - about the insignificant amount of engineers who are citizens who are graduating in the U.S. compared to China and India?

9. Gee Tom, do you take any responsibility for this
After all it was you who cheerleaded the war and basically said anyone who opposed it was a twit that didn't understand world politics. Now you're coming out and saying what we've been saying all along. Maybe it's you who doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground.
