what does 'the Big Game' phrase mean to you??

I grew up in OK in the 40s and 50s......it meant OU vs Notre Dame

later it meant OU vs TX

later maybe OU vs Nebraska

in the 60s I was in grad school in CA....there the Big Game is------Stanford vs California!!!!!......really, my thought was, who in the world cares???

Where it meant Missouri vs. Kansas...

I didn't have a prejudiced bone in my body until I went to Mizzou. Now, if I find out someone's a Jayhawk, I can't even talk to them. It's terrible. That rivalry is so bad that, one year when I was still in school there, the KU marching band was pelted with batteries and FULL beer cans. I mean, just sheer cruelty.
