BTBM here- Go Steelers! I'm not much into college football, but Since my wife is from Columbus, and I live in Ohio, I'm a default Ohio State fan.

Professional = Vikings
NCAA Division I = Oregon Ducks (I'll NEVER like the BIson, NEVER)
NCAA Divison II = UND Sioux
NAIA = DIckinson State University BLUE HAWKS - Go Hawks!!!

9. I'm NCAA all the way...

I love all the SEC schools, but have to put my hometown Auburn Tigers in the number one spot, and my alma mater Georgia Bulldogs a close second. Have a soft spot for LSU as well. Non-conference programs I like include Penn State, Wisconsin, Texas and Southern Cal - plus a lot of the HBC programs that are overlooked and underfunded. I hope like hell there will be a cinderella story coming out of a league like the SWAC in the near future!

Hell, on Saturdays in the fall, it hardly matters who is playing - I am either at a game or watching multiple games from midmorning until after midnight. I'm an obnoxious college football fanatic and proud of it!

And hey - I thought this group was started with particular focus on NCAA football, not pro football, which dominates the Sports forum already. No offense BBM, just sayin'...

12. I live in a Big Ten area

The University of Minnesota Golden Gophers are located in the Twin Cities area...however, I am not a big fan of their football program, since they really have not had a great team since the 60's (even though I went to school there). I am a Wisconsin Badger fan (also a Big 10 team). Mr KW is a Penn State fan (another Big 10 team), even though he grew up in southern CA...(PAC 10 area LOL)

College teams I dislike vehemently? Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame.

I have been a Giants season ticket holder for most of my life. The Giants are my team. I went to school in Oregon. Being from NYC, I never watched very much college football until I got to Oregon. I love PAC-10 ball and am a Duck fan.

I'm also a Big 10 fan in general, since I live in Indiana. But, I grew up in Iowa, that's why I'm a Hawkeye fan. Just sorta picked the Bengals out of thin air when I was a kid, I suppose. It's been rough, but I've always been a loyal fan.

So glad football season is here - finally!

28. E*A*G*L*E*S Eagles

My parrot goes crazy during Eagles games. She says "Eagles are # 1, Go Eagles, Go Eagles, GOOO EAGLES!!". She also spells, Eagles, but most of the letters come out but not all in the correct order.

The neighbor kids spoiled her, she said "E" and they would say AGLES, Eagles! She also says, GO GO!! Let's Go, TO!!

She claps and woohoos during the game. She actually knows the NFL background sounds, because, when playoffs get closer, I watch the competition and she thinks the EAGLES are playing!!

Yeah, I know logically, I should root for the Packers and UCLA, but can't stop being a Ram's & USC fan.
