City is going off
They signed Tevez (decent) but now they are after John Terry and Adebayor- that might make them a top four club-

2. Adebayor deal completed
Manchester City now own 135 forwards (perhaps 136, there is always a chance that one has slipped behind the owner's new sofa at Eastlands). That pushes angry little Craig Bellamy further down the pecking order too, so entertaining all round really.

It has been a remarkable summer in Manchester. I particularly liked the blue Tevez ('Welcome to Manchester') image that has gone up in the city centre. A dig at Manchester United, from whatever source, always cheers me up.

Things are insane at Eastlands at the moment though. John Terry is the next target. I love how all of these players (yes, Mr Gareth Barry, I am looking at you) NEVER join City for the oodles of cash, no, no, no, no, it is always for the "exciting challenge".

Now the real question is: can Mark Hughes make a team out of all of these highly-paid gilded superstars?

To be fair, I don't know who would be? How does anyone keep all the egos from getting out of hand in the dressing room? Now you want to add John Terry (feckin ******)

for 40 million to that and you have a death mix.
Good luck to them but I see :nuke:

A guy like David Moyes might kill all of them before the first match:)

4. I'm a Welshman so have a soft spot for Sparky
but, in all honesty, who can see him as City boss this time next year?

I can see Mourinho there though.....the Super Ego to keep all the other egos in check.

We live in interesting times....no, wait, I've just read that Sven is now at Notts County.....we live in BIZARRE times.
