After a stressful match w/ the Aussies. Good game, but as usual I suffered through the whole thing until Brazil scored it's second goal with 5 minutes left.

1. There oughta be a law against having so much talent on one team

Brazil doesn't even need Ronaldo; there's guys languishing on the bench who could win the Cup for Brazil.

Team USA needs to take part in more competitive regional competitions, like the Copa America, if it wants to progress to the next level, talent-wise. The Gold Cup alone just won't do it.

2. The USA match w/ Italy was good I thought. ( 1 x 1)

too bad that one player was given a red card, I think they played one guy short after that...
Italy kind of rough housed also, ....ouch...that elbow jab to McBride was ugly.
It will not be long before the USA has some superstars to stage at the Cups.

But, Brazil sweats their plays like everyone else. I think the fact it is so ingrained in the bodies and souls of Brazil gives them a familiar happy edge. It is really a national thing....like running for President.
