I was going to post about the women of Camp Casey and the Peace House but I am still so emotional about it I just really could not bring myself to put it into words to describe it well.

I am leaving to go back tomorrow, taking my husband this time. Meeting more DUers there. I have to say, I knew when I was there it was woman powered and it felt sooooo good. It will be interesting to see how my husband reacts to it.

I met Medea Benjamin there. Ran smack into her when I got out of the truck. I helped her set up her table the last day I was there and talked with her a bit and stood next to her during a press conference. She autographed the Code Pink book that I bought there too. It is called Stop The Next War Now and is very good. Next to meeting Cindy it was the coolest thing to meet Medea.

If I am able I will report more about this wonderful matriarchal movement when I return late Friday.
