Without rehashing all of the reasons why these rapist assholes need to be put out of "business", here is a list of upcoming "party" dates and locations for the month of August.

Some activists have had success in shutting these parties down by directly contacting the venues and informing them of what they are really signing on for - pornographers supplying alcohol to often underage girls and then exploiting them sexually in a variety of ways. These bars and clubs can lose their liquor licenses for underage service, so this is a big deal for them.

I have looked all of the clubs up and added contact information, whatever was available.

Some activists have also had success when they inform the club manager/owner that they are going to let the local authorities know about the party and the likelihood of underage drinking - shows have been canceled when these people know there will be cops there. They know what they are doing and it is illegal.

Please do what you can.

you might want to contact your local police department and let them know when this is happening. Calling your local media might not be a bad idea either.

If tv cameras show up to do a news story on the people luring local girls into porn you know the cops will show up soon enough to shut everything down.

But when the Girls Gone Wild bus rolls into Halifax in September <2005>, a local university and women's group say they'll make sure it won't be welcome.

"We're not keen anytime a predator comes to campus, and quite frankly, that may be what we're looking at," Charles Crosby, Dalhousie University's media relations manager, told ATV News.

... Dalhousie says it will try to block Mantra Films from preying on women by way of an awareness campaign.

"We'll be sending out information during frosh week," said Crosby. "Students coming to residence will make sure they have information in their residence kit and we're meeting with residence assistants to bring them up to speed on this company."

Dalhousie's efforts are being applauded by the Nova Scotia Status Of Women Advisory Council, which is sending letters to other universities and colleges across the province to provide similar warnings for their students.

... Women's advocacy groups in Thunder Bay, Ont. are claiming their efforts stopped the Girls Gone Wild Canada tour from coming into their city earlier this month.

Looks like rallying the troops *before* the scum come to town, to let them know what they'll be dealing with, just might keep them away -- from smaller communities, anyhow.

Forget Canadian bacon. These days, it's cheesecake the world is coming to expect from us.

In what experts are calling the latest perversion of "girl power," the once ubiquitous mantra deployed to sell everything from cosmetics to cars in the late 1990s, Canadian women are making headlines for their liberal interpretations of female advancement. And Calgary is at the forefront of the movement. After local bartender Cherie Cymbalisty cashed in on her recent flirtation with Prince Harry at Calgary nightclub Cowboys, reportedly earning more than $30,000 from a British tabloid for her story, her lawyer -- who's negotiating photo spreads in Maxim and Playboy for the 22-year-old -- defended her as "a young lady who is just using her girl power to further her own life."

Similarly, upon winning a North American talent search by The Naked News, Vancouver's Holly Eglinton -- now one of the online network's nude anchorwomen -- proudly confessed to being "one of those girls" who sees exhibitionism as a means of empowerment. And on a recent episode of Canada's Next Top Model, eyebrows were raised when contestants ranging in age from 18 to 22 were compelled to take pole-dancing lessons and perform a mock striptease under the guise of improving self-confidence and fitness.

Rebecca Sullivan, a professor of communication and culture at the University of Calgary, says it's all part of the prevailing thinking in which "girl power" translates to "girls gone wild." "Are we supposed to be proud of these Canadian accomplishments? Like, 'Hey, we produced Diana Krall and the six o'clock anchor for the Naked News!' " Sullivan says dryly.

"Canadian media like to pretend that they are morally and esthetically superior to the crass commercialism of the United States, but increasingly, from our entertainment television to our so-called serious journalism, the sexual exploitation of women is all too mainstream."

It goes on to a more general discussion of the whole perversion of "girl power".

Your op is dead on, in terms of what they sign on for when they agree to these activities in their clubs. I've read a few of the most recent profiles of that guy (prior to jail) and they were brutally honest and less than flattering (one written by a woman he accosted during the time she was shadowing him for the interview. Oh and he threatened to "ruin her" if she told anyone...:puke:)

...so disturbing. I was kind of glad to see he was incarcerated, thinking it would curtail his abuse and profit of young girls.

The article I read on this guy(written by a woman he also harassed) was SO heinous and very disturbing. He's absolutely a menace. No regard at all for women. He even threatened the manager of a bldg. he resided in and started harassing her. Get this, because the garbage collector's truck awakened him when they picked up the bldg's trash. :eyes: (Yeah--that's her fault :sarcasm:)So, he took to threatening and calling her slurs, telling her he was going to get her, etc.

It's frightening that this sociopath and obvious predator has found a way (supported by society) to thrive in the world--on the shoulders of young, naive girls. :puke:

Oh and thank you for the confirmation on his incarceration. I'm kind of stunned that he's allowed to continue business as usual while he's in the can. Especially given that at least some of his charges stem from his "business." :crazy:
