Anyone on Sparkpeople?
I just joined and would love to make some "friends" over there. :) I have the same username over there -- so hit me up! :D

1. What exactly is Spark People?
Just popped over to have a look but it was difficult to figure out without registering. So- - is it a diet plan? A community for support? Something new and different? Most importantly- is it working for you? If so, would love to hear about it!

2. I think it's pretty much all of the above.
My wellness coach suggested it, and it's free, so I signed up for an account. They have a food tracker, an exercise tracker, and of course they have forums and blogs and many, many, many pages of advice and inspiration. And it's all free, which is pretty nice. I think they have their own program as well, but I haven't started that yet because I just wanted to get going with food tracking and settling in to the site before I tried to take off with the whole changing of the diet thing.

I don't know how it'll work for me long term, but it certainly has a LOT of resources and best of all it's free! :) So I'm having fun playing with it for now. I guess I'll report back when I know more.

7. I've done great on there.
I'm not real active in the forums, but I use all the rest of the site. My name is the same over there. I've lost 65
# since joining for a total of 105#.

I never use their food plan. It would drive me nuts having to eat what they tell me. I have my own favorites. I really love the Spark recipes the best. Everything is figured out for you.

9. I checked it out and joined yesterday
I think it's what I need to keep me motivated and on track. My goal is to drop 60lbs, but I'll be happy with whatever I can lose.

Gizmonic is already taken so I joined as Ms_Peabody.
