Progress update
Well, I'm still obese, BUT

I don't look pregnant anymore. I really had a beach ball going. I've really worked on the the past three months. It's about gone, I noticed in the mirror this morning. I can almost present a straight vertical side profile. I look like I have a waist again. And I'm only about 1.75 inches away from the magic 35" for women.

The weight is coming off achingly slowly. x( Only about 2 lbs/month. But I'm exercising about as much as I can. Having a heart condition I don't have the full stamina of a person without it, and it makes me really tired toward the end of the week, as in I need an extra 2-3 hours sleep. But, so far so good. I get in about 4x a week and included in that is lifting weights for upper and lower body 2x/week as well.

I'm eating really well. Staying (mostly) away from foods that I am sensitive to (wheat gluten; milk, caffeine) and eating more lean protein and veggies and some fruit. I am also using a protein supplement to replace one meal, usually the evening one a couple or three of times a week.

1. woo hoo! You're doing SO well
at 2 lbs a month average you're not likely to have a problem keeping the weight off. Kudos to you for sticking to a plan and also for exercising. It's long been a problem for me in that I cannot seem to get my butt up and into an exercise program. I try but always give up. I was born lazy I guess. :) I'm not sedentary but I don't go to the gym or actively participate in a regimen.
'Nuff about me. You should be REALLY pleased with your progress. Losing weight in the area that you have will probably be more significant for you as you have a heart condition. Carrying weight above the waist is very stressful for our hearts.

keep up the good work!

 :applause:

2. Congratulations on your loss.
The tape will tell the truth. You're losing inches and that's what counts.
