We can't work it out
I posted an article in the Health forum from today's Observer (Guardian) that I thought y'all would be interested in too. It discusses the relative merits of exercise in losing weight. I posted it in the Health forum because I thought some of the people who are so adamant about current thinking could use a different perspective.

Please read and comment too at your leisure. It's a rather long article.

1. Having lost 53 pounds over the last year or so, I'd say
that exercise does make me more hungry, and that every single day has been a pitched battle against hunger. I've made drastic changes in the food I eat (more healthy, less carby) and in the calories I consume (around 1200 per day).

I've become used to the fact that I'll just have to be hungry in order to lose weight. And that the weight loss will take time.

I have exercised during this (walking and working up to being able to run now too). It feels like I have gotten into better cardio shape, but I don't know that the exercise has 'helped' my weight loss.

Thanks for posting the article. I think I'll go read it through again.
