Hi,guys...sorry so long posting!I'm doing great!
I had my roux-en-y surgery approx 4 weeks ago.I have lost 30 pounds so far.I am back to my previous level of functioning(I actually went back to work after 10 days).I am still eating very small portions...usually deferring to shakes for my meals.I appreciate all your kind thoughts and prayers...they WORKED! I have no regrets, and will gladly answer any questions. Thanks again!

1. Glad things are working out
why did you go through surgery? Are you trying to lose weight, build weight, or ? I'm relatively new to the group, so sorry about all the questions...:) :hi:

2. I have tried EVERYTHING to lose weight
I am a workout fanatic, but still couldn't lose weight.I have tried every diet, pill etc for the last 25 years. Finally,my insurance approved my gastric bypass. It has been a godsend.

3. Wow... that's a pound a day!
Is that unusually quick, or do most people who have surgery drop like that at first? And also, getting back to work in only 10 days sounds good. If I may ask, what do you do? I'm a former casino dealer who is now a tech support agent, and I'm very fortunate to be off my feet right now but there's no denying I need more physical activity.

But, congratulations on your weight loss, and I'm sure you'll continue on just wonderfully.
