Protein.
I had been having such trouble getting protein in. So much so that my protein, potassium and albumin levels dropped to a 'dangerous' low. My ankles and feet and face were swelling (retaining fluids) and I had actually started to gain 'weight'
All of the protein supplements I'd tried tasted horrible, some even made me gag.

As a result of my surgery I need to take in about 85 grams of protein a day...

I finally found a protein shake that tastes VERY good! Revival Soy Protein Shakes have NO aftertaste and have 20 grams of protein per serving. The people at Revival Soy customer service are wonderful. Fed Ex delivered my package to the wrong address on Thursday, last week and RS called them Friday morning. I had my package Friday afternoon!

www.revivalsoy.com

I ordered the Soy Chips/lightly salted, and the salt and vinegar too.
I ordered the Protein Bars, chocolate and I'm going to order the sampler box as well, they have SO many flavours. Bars have 16-19 grams of protein!
I ordered some soy nuts too for 'snacks'.

I highly recommend this stuff to anyone who wants to supplement their dietary needs.

They do offer free samples on their site too.

1. The shakes Lindora sells are good.
Esp the ones made by Bariatrics.

Also a Canadian company makes a line call Protidiet that has alot of high protein foods (like oatmeal) that I enjoy.

These can all be ordered online.

The stuff you get at the local health food or supplement store is gross -- agreed.

Let me know if you want links.
