Looking for tips...Weight Watchers Core Plan..
So, as the Queen of counting points stubbornly admits it's time for a change. My husband came back from the doctors, his blood pressure, despite meds is still too high and we have both hit a weight loss plateau.

Any tips. I feel, looking at the food list, that I'm going to spend every night in the kitchen cooking and if we are traveling or just in a hurry, we will have nothing we can eat.

So, what do you eat. Do you feel healthier?

2. Have you ever tried one of those rotisserie chickens at Sam's or Costco?

that sure is an easy meal, and while you are there, pick up a bag of broccoli, and steam it, squeeze it with fresh lemon juice, drizzle a little butter, pepper, add a salad, and Voila! Instant dinner. Its good for you, yummy, and super simple. You can stem the broccoli in the microwave.

I also try to keep a bag of frozen ravioli in the freezer, then just open a jar of prego or bertolli's sauce, add a salad, and that's a pretty simple meal. Limit your portion, and its a healthy, quick meal.

Another quick dinner I've recently been hooked on, is tilapia. I get the fillets at the grocery store, line a baking sheet with foil & spray it with butter-flavor Pam (no clean-up afterwards!), lightly rub each side of the fillets with olive oil, salt and fresh-ground pepper. drizzle fresh lemon juice on top, bake at 350degrees for about 5-7 minutes, serve with a salad. I also like to make fresh green beans with red pepper strips, a little sesame oil for flavor, sprinkle with black sesame seeds, and again, Voila! The whole dinner doesn't take 20 minutes.

Those are some simple ideas that may help you....

3. I switch back and forth
between the plans depending what is going on in my life. If I feel there are too many things where I'm not in control of what I eat I do flex plan, sometimes I switch to core because I really think that's the way we are meant to eat. Eat when you are hungry, eat healthy foods and I really don't want to have to write down whatever I eat for the rest of my life. (I've been a Weight Watcher for about 9 years and am currently at goal)

When I do Core plan I find that I have less cravings for sweets and junk food. There are a lot of things you can get right at the market that are core foods, you don't have to resort to fast food when you are busy. Also when you do have time to cook, make extra and put some in the freezer so you are ready for hectic times.
