so-I found out my dad is dying of cancer today.
I haven't seen him in 20 some-odd years.it still hurts.I'm OK...I just didn't have anyone else to tell.

my mom died and it took 5 years for me to find out. but I know what you mean about there are regrets for 'what could have been'
