If there's a GD: P poster who is relentlessly obnoxious and *always* taking the low road, make sure you point that out to the mods when you alert on their posts.

If you really believe that someone is poison for the atmosphere, ask for a tombstone.

One of my "Buddies" is DEAD DEAD DEAD today but there are plenty left, ya know?

2. I've started alerting on posts that are obviously violating DU rules,

but it's disappointing how long some of them stay up before they are removed or the threads are locked. The mods must be swamped these days trying to keep up. What really burns me, though, is the number of recommends that some of the most vile posts get. The ones that really annoy me are the ones that celebrate the TSing of long time DU members.
