Hope you'll appreciate this, from a Wes Clark supporter.
"Hillary is cruelly misunderstood, and she deserves more credit for her benevolence. . .

Whether or not she wins, Hillary has already given noble service as a sophisticated political tutor for Obama, providing her younger colleague with much-needed seasoning. Who else was going to toughen him up? Howard Dean? John Edwards? Dennis Kucinich? . . .

One of the most valuable lessons the gritty Hillary can teach the languid Obama — and the timid Democrats — is that the whole point of a presidential race is to win.

It’s not to share power, or force the squabbling couple into an arranged marriage. The winner wins, even if it’s only by a fraction of a percentage point or one Supreme Court justice. Winning has no margin of error, as the Democrats should have learned by now. And the winner gets to decide his or her running mate.

But the ultimate favor Hillary can do for the Illinois freshman is to fight him full-out until the finale and then gracefully release him so he can find happiness with another.

Hillary’s work is done only when she is done, because the best way for Obama to prove he’s ready to stare down Ahmadinejad is by putting away someone even tougher."

6. Chickenpox is complimentary to the shingles in much the same way.

3. What an awesome appraisal of Hill's strength!

Reminded me of something I wrote back on February 27th, just after the Ohio debates:

Hillary did just what Ted Strickland told her to do in last night's debate. She come out as the fighter that she really is... for Universal Health Care, for ending the war in Iraq, for revising NAFTA, for creating Green Collar jobs in Ohio. I will keep my paws crossed that Mr. Strickland knows Ohio as well as he thinks he does.

Her tough talk did appeal to ME. It was just what I wanted to see! I even called for it in some of my DU posts yesterday. But, I am not sure how many men could handle it. My own DH seemed mildly put off by it. Not intellectually, but viscerally. I think she hits the "mommy button" for him. That worries me a bit. That said, we both saw this as a strong performance by Hillary. On the issues she was top dog for sure.

But, I have to admit, I also saw the best debate of Barack's career heretofore. After 20 debates, he is learning well from Sen. Clinton.... about how to stick to the issues and cut the Care Bear sing-a-longs. He seems to be delving more deeply into his policies than ever before. In the end, I fear, Hillary has done just what sooooo many women all over this country do: train the men who will become our bosses.

I am heartsick at the prospect that this election is being stolen out from under her.... by the MSM's pandering to Obama. And the party elders (all men) forsaking her. I'm not surprised, tho. It's an old song. If you are a woman, and you have ever trained your future (male) boss.... you know exactly want I mean.

4. Odd compliment... coming from Dowd.
Hasn't she been quite anti-Hillary throughout this race?
