Frank's Original RedHot Sauce as Cigarette Substitute
Someone on DU once said that they quit smoking by swigging Frank's Original Hot Sauce right out of the bottle whenever they craved a cigarette. (If it was one of you out there, please show yourself!)

You know what? I've tried this, and so far it helps! The hot sauce burns your mouth and throat just a little, sort of giving the same tactile stimulation a cigarette does. The feeling also lingers for a little bit, like a cigarette.

I don't know if the "Hot Sauce Solution" will work long-term all by itself. It may need supplementation with some sort of nicotine replacement therapy. But it's worth a shot.

4. I was afraid you'd say that! I'm off to the market, at this point I'll try
just about anything ('cept licking an ashtray).

Keep the tips coming, folks!
