I Just Made My Own Shoes .. Kinda
The dilemma: I bought this gorgeous 1950s-ish "wiggle" dress, made of royal blue velvet. Big party tonight, so I went shoe shopping yesterday and found, to my horror, royal blue just ain't one of this year's fashion colors.

So I made my own. Got the cheapest pair of black pumps I could find from Targét, went to the art supply shop this afternoon, got some glitter and glue and now they're drying.

I just pray the glitter will stay on through tonight.

3. They Were Adequate
Some of the sparkle stuff brushed off but in general, it worked. Considering the party included a tour of art galleries, they were appropriate :)

4. My cousin was a model in the 1960's and she said they
used to do this all the time: glitter some plain shoes. The other alternative is to buy white silk shoes and dye them.
