bummed......just realized it's my brother Glenn's birthday
he passed away last Thanksgiving due to alcoholism. He would have been 49 - just 11 months older than me. *sniff*

2. thanks
*sniff* I can't stop thinking about him. Damn I wish he had gone to the doctor like we had urged him to do - he just disliked doctors so much. :(

3. Birthdays, anniversaries, holidays are all
going to be tough for us from now on (lost my Dad in Nov. too). I wish there was a way to make it less painful. and

6. wow - 80!
I envy people who have relatives who live that long - all my aunts and uncles passed away around age 50 - alcoholism. It's a dreadful disease. Luckily it seems to have bypassed me - I only drink at parties a couple times a year. Although I do battle the nicotine gene. :(

10. Skittles
I just lost my mother last Tuesday...she was 90. I feel very blessed
that i had so much time with her. It doesnt seem to make it any
easier though....seems the longer you have them the harder it is to
let go. She had lived with me last 9 years so im having a horrible
time just walking past her room.
